Building a System for the Way You Live
At the core of this system is the ADL Wall—an adaptable foundation that brings modularity to life. Its hanger-style design offers endless possibilities, accommodating everything from skis and bikes to fishing poles and strollers. With the foundation defined, we now embark on creating specialized hanging devices for every type of activity, ensuring that no matter the gear or pursuit, there’s a place for everything. Built to evolve with your needs, this system seamlessly blends function and design for every adventure.
The Bin Hanger is a key innovation in this system, enabling a seamless framework for incorporating open-sourced materials into the design. By creating an adaptable and efficient structure, it empowers users to build with greater flexibility and sustainability.
Once the designs are prototyped in cardboard and plywood, they’re translated into precise CAD drawings, setting the stage for the manufacturing process. This step ensures accuracy and efficiency as we move from concept to creation.
During my education I found my self exploring ideas in the shop the movement of materials this project has been such a wonderful exploration of physical design system.
Creating a visual identity
At the heart of the brand is a commitment to authenticity—a logo that embodies the product itself, seamlessly blending form and function. The visuals are inspired by adventure, capturing the spirit of the activities this system supports. Social channels become more than a platform; they’re a window into the design journey, a candid space to showcase process and purpose, and a stage to demonstrate the true value this product brings to every adventure.
